Bro. Louie,
So sorry to hear about your grandma’s final journey.
But we will all go to that stage one day – it’s just a matter of time. A good many did not even approximate the point in time that your grandma has gone to.
Anyway, my wife Amy and I wish to convey to you and your family our deepest condolences for the passing away of your grandma.
Pls. be assured that Mrs. Ceferina Torres-Reyes will be in our prayers – that she would find the peace that only the Lord can provide.
Unfortunately, I could not join the funeral or wake.
I did not even have the time to do this bit of an email much earlier – or as soon as I saw WB Manny’s advice. Just too busy at work and could not stay put in my desk for even a couple of minutes.
My work environment does not allow me that comfort – that’s actually a luxury for me here.
Best regards,
Dan
PS
This incident brings to my mind the passing away of the only grandparent that I came to know. She was so dear to all her grandchildren but when her time was up, I could not even bid her my final adieu because we’ve been here for less than two years and we were not in a position then to go hurriedly back to Daet.
You’re blessed that you’ve been with a loving (all of them are) grandparent for a much longer period of time.
