Saw and spoke to Bro and Dr Fred Sese (of Lodge Alpha) last Sunday General Membership Meeting and spoke to him at lenght. He is our very own "pussy cat whisperer", a veterinarian by profession.
Bro Fred recently sold his veterinary business and retired. He is currently going to the Philippines next week for a four-month "holiday", thus this hastily conceived despedida. Actually the idea was broached last Sunday meeting, FilMasons only need an excuse to have fellowship even mid-week!
IPP Bro Manny Santos is hosting said affair at his Burrinjuck Drive home tonight, so if you and sis are available please drop by with your favorite drinks. I am sure red wine will be the preferred drink, as our Bro Fred has a penchant for red wines.
Prior to his retirement, Bro Fred is a perennial visitor to Masonic Lodge meetings in the district, together with Lodge Alpha's WM, WBro Vince Flores and Bro Bert Dooma. According to him he will visit lodges at the Capitol Masonic Temple in Quezon City. I am sure Bro Fred will have a grand time visiting lodges in the Philippines and having fellowship with our Filipino brethren.
Bon Voyage Bro Fred.

Hello All,
Just an update re last night despedida, which is another way of saying "you missed out" on an evening of fellowship!
I know it is a weekday. Sis Irene and I just barely made it to Bro Manny and Sis Odeng's house. As I have O/T at work and got there at half past 10 and stayed till about 1 AM.
Present were WBro Pres Fidel Pamplona, WBro Vince Flores, Bro Bert Dooma, WBro Manny Reyes, Bro Carl Samboy, Bro Tom Baena, Bro Fred Sese, our hosts Bro Manny and Sis Odeng and us.
As expected the wine was flowing red and the Chivas Regal was left untouched. I guess everybody wanted to savour the reds since it complements well with the dinner served by the Santos'es.Thanks so much Sis Odeng and Bro Manny for your hospitality!
Obviously the conversation centered on Bro Fred's homecoming. Tips were given on how to visit lodges in the Philippines as well as the lodges with the "bright lights".
Another topic of great interest was the fellowship and hospitality of Pinoy Masons back home.
A great night was had by all and Bro Manny presented Bro Fred with two bottles of reds as a going away present to tide over... (just kidding Bro Fred). Bro Fred in turn showed his appreciation by distributing his now famous salted eggs. Thanks Bro....

Part of last paragraph above should say...."going away present to tide HIM over..." Just found out that you can't edit comments AFTER you published them. So watch out for more typo... grammatical errors you just have to forgive.
Ditto
Dear Bro Mario
Well done Bro Mar! Enjoyed reading the Blogazine. Heaps of good information in it.
Please extend my best wishes & apologies to Bro Sese. He is such a good mason. Hope to see him 4 months later.
Kind regards,
Rey Porras
