Hello All,

Just a note to say how lovely the dinner and dance practice were.

Present in the dinner were VWBro Manny & Sis Remy Maniago, Bro IPP Manny & Sis Odeng Santos, Bro Rudy & Sis Zen Olaco, Bro Manny & son, Daniel Placido, Bro Manny P's brother-in-law Mr Freddie (Sis Dodo's brother)and wife Melinda Ramos and us, Irene & Mario.

Sis Zen was enamoured with the fried soft shell spicy crab, she requested Bro Rdy to order another plate. Another favourite was the fried spicy flounder. As usual the dishes were all nice and the total bill: $15 per couple (I told you guys this was cheap!) plus the usual drinks.

We then proceeded to Bro Rudy and Sis Zen's place at Churchill St, Bardwell Park. You should see this palatial home, which is for auction (Ray White, I believe 11 Nov, see link: http://www.raywhite.com/cgi-bin/rsearch?a=o&id=104316284&f=0&p=10&t=res&ty=&header=&c=79722637&cc=au&s=nsw&tm=1193442940

Aside from the initial group who had dinner at the Soccer Club, Bro VP Louie and Sis Marilyn Reyes, Bro Ted & Sis Evy Robiso and Bro Julian & Sis Alicia Tan.

With much beer, wine, coffee & tea and pulutan and snacks (yes, more food with pastries and cakes as well!) I guess since we did not have any dessert, that justify the so many "snacks".:)

Anyway, we managed to burn it all off with the dance practice and the tour of the whole tri-level house. Bro IPP Manny was so impressed with Bro Rudy's car park I think he might want to purchase the place!

For those who attended Lodge Woronora's Ladies Night, I know you and Sis had a great night out. We did.

The $40 per person was well worth it!

The FilMasons even took over the party till 12 midnight.

FilMasons present were: WBro Bobby (unofficial photographer) & Sis Nanette Briones, VWBro Manny & Sis Remy Maniago, Sis Pen Pamplona (WBro Fidel is on Grand Lodge duties), Bro IPP Manny & Sis Odeng Santos, Bro Julian & Sis Alicia Tan, Bro Ted & Sis Evy Robiso, Bro Rudy & Sis Zen Olaco, Bro Manny (unofficial "lintek" soundman) & Sis Dodo Placido, Bro VP Louie & Sis Marilyn Reyes & Bro Louie's Mom and cousin and us, Mario & Irene Baylon.

Notable dance number (except of course our Cowboy dance and Lodge Woronora's Filipino dancers) was the dance numbers by the unnamed professional ballroom dance couple.

Another highlight was the public line dance numbers.

Since today is the start of daylight savings time, Sis Remy wanted to get as much out of it by asking all to continue the party at Canterbury Leagues Club. Unfortunately, for some of us oldies, we have to beg off.
